It's not too bad -- I've put together two like it since then.  The dual 4650's were a bad choice, though -- when I replace the video, going to go to just one card.  The Crossfire configuration is not adding performance to most applications, and is causing stability issues in several apps.  Turning off crossfire resolves it -- it may be that I would have better luck if the whole system were Asus, not sure.

Before the upgrades, the slow computer was running an Athlon 2400+ underclocked (for stability) with an AGP video card, and so the performance was real bad -- but it did work well enough to run most of what I wanted.
